School Nurse Emergency Assessment & Treatment Course (SNEAT)
Written for School Nurse, by School Nurses
90-day Course
Over 90 days, this course is taught at your own pace via our online learning management system (LMS), with most modules featuring recorded video lectures, reading materials, resources, forums/discussions, and optional quizzes to test your knowledge.
30+ Modules
The School Nurse Emergency Assessment & Treatment (SNEAT) course covers 30+ learning modules designed to equip school nurses with the knowledge and skills to handle a range of medical emergencies. Through a comprehensive and engaging curriculum, the program aims to create ‘top-notch’ care for every child.
Continuing Education
This course is approved for continuing nursing education (CNE) in ALL states. Upon program completion, contact hours are electronically issued for each course participant. See the course information page for required contact hours disclaimers.
Pediatric Emergencies for School Nurses (PESN)
Written for School Nurse, by School Nurses
3 Courses:
PE1: Emergent Conditions
This 1-day course covers multiple emergency (and some non-emergent) conditions across trauma, medical, psychosocial, and other areas encountered by the school nurse.
PE2: Urgent Conditions
This 1-day course covers emergent conditions for injuries and illnesses. In addition, this course also includes sections on assessment, triage, legal, and documentation.
PE3: Rashes & Assessment
This half-day program is one of our most popular programs that covers rashes and assessment. This course also includes common infectious diseases encountered in pediatric care.
Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
an Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) course
A 2-Day Live Instructor-Led Course
This 2-day live course, delivered via Zoom, is primarily aimed at Emergency Nurses; however, its rigorous content and coverage of various clinical conditions often attract nurses from all areas of healthcare. Upon completion of this course, including passing 2 exams, recipients will receive an ENPC credential — issued by the Emergency Nurses Association and valid for 4 years. The Health Care Training Academy, Inc was founded in 1996 by a group of Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, and Paramedics. We provide a variety of health care training programs to a wide range of health care team members (RNs, LPNs, EMTs, NPs, PAs, MDs/DOs, etc.). We also offer many seminars and community/workplace courses.
